MISSION

Groundbreaking Construction needed a brand identity that reflected their strength, reliability, and roots in the community. They wanted to stand out in the competitive construction industry while maintaining an approachable and professional tone. The challenge was to create a brand that resonated with both local homeowners and federal contracting audiences, positioning them as a trusted partner for projects big and small.

The brand was built around the bison, a symbol of resilience and strength that captures the spirit of wide-open landscapes and untamed potential. While not native to Oregon, the bison was chosen over a traditional bull for its rugged, outdoorsy essence—a perfect nod to breaking ground, both literally and figuratively. The messaging and design reinforced Groundbreaking Construction's focus on excellence in heavy equipment services while maintaining a friendly, approachable tone. This cohesive identity set them apart, providing a solid foundation for growth across all sectors. (Oh and Logan thought a buffalo was more badass and I said... yup!)

Building a web presence for Groundbreaking Construction was all about carving out a distinct, memorable brand in the federal space. By combining a creative, Oregon-rooted identity with a strong digital footprint, we’re setting ourselves apart from the competition. This foundation will soon be reinforced with targeted content and social media campaigns to keep the momentum rolling.
